to fill the spare time for the next weeks. I have some gifts to make. Three girls are patiently waiting for their PIF gift. I'll also make something for my partners in the FRIENDS swap and SSCS swap.

May be I'll use some of these fabrics - or may be not. I won't tell you; it's a secret :-)

Some of the trees have got some yellow leaves. The first snow is on the highest tops, and the temperatures are quite low. There's no doubt; the summer is over. A little bit sad, but on the other hand autumn is a good time for handicrafts. In the dark evenings it's cosy to listen to music or a talking book when you are stitching or knitting.
This weekend I'm working on UFOs/WISPs together with some friends. We are not at the same place - we have contact via Internett. It's very nice. Yesterday I finished two make-up bags. It seems that I never get tired of this pattern from AnnAKa- I don't know how many I have made during the last years. I'm sure these will not be the last ones. Now I will work on the Log Cabin top.

because I have been lucky. It's not often I win, but during the last couple of weeks I have won twice ;-))
After Friday Night Sew-In - hosted by Heidi and Bobbi -I was one of the lucky ones.
Last night I became aware of that I also was one of last month's OPAM winners.
I'm sure there soon will be exciting mail in my letter box both from USA and Australia.

OPAM August

Another month has passed , and it's time to report a few finishes. Two bags for clothes-pegs, and some clothes for a baby - that's all.

Last night's sewing

I started with these fabrics from my stash, and here is the result; a bag for clothes-pegs. The pattern is from a Norwegian Quilt Magazine

- design AnnAKa. The only thing I need before I can use it, is a little coat hanger. Now I'll take a trip around the blogging world to see what was made during the Friday Night Sew-In. Many thanks to Bobbi and Heidi for doing this every month!

FRIENDS swap

Now I'm back home after visiting my mother last week. I knew there was an e-mail from Khris waiting for me. I joined the FRIENDS swap she's hosting, and I was so excited to know who my partner was. It was Marina . I have to think of what to make/buy for her, and I look forward to prepare the package.
