It has been a lovely day here

in the north, and I have been

sitting on the porch finishing this

little stitchery.

Tilda stitchery

A little Tilda stitchery is done. It will be hanging on the wall in my sewing room.

The weather is quite nice, so today I think I will take the sewing machine outdoors and try to get borders on another stitchery. It's still some hours left of this month, so may be I can get one more finish before we jump over to July :-)

PIF gift

I have been away for some days, and when I came home, a package from Australia was waiting for me. Some months ago I joined Marc's PIF - on http://www.daisy-jayne.blogspot.com/. Below you can see what I found when unwrapping the package - a beautiful wallhanging and a note pad! I can't believe that she has made this for me - it's my colours too! Thank you very, very much for a fantastic gift!

When joining a "Pay It Forward", you are making a gift within a year for the first 3 persons who join. Unfortunately there where no one who wanted to join mine, but I still hope someone are interested. I'm not sure I can promise a big quilt, but I certainly will make you something :-) Come on girls!

Knitting/quilting

Our Handicraft Association use to have a summer sale. Now more pairs of socks are ready for that. I have also made a start on the baby sweater I mentioned in an earlier post. I have spent a little time in the sewing room as well, but I can't show you any photo yet. It's a secret :-)

A few weeks ago Renata had a giveaway, and I was one of the lucky ones. Now the package from has arrived. She has made a lovely rucksack, and the size is just perfect. Thank you very much!

Some time ago I joined a "Friends" swap organized by Khris. The participants had to send 7 items to their partner - one for each of the letters in "FRIENDS". I received the package from Jennifer. Everything were nicely wrapped. After opening one by one, I was overwhelmed! She really spoiled me! Dark chocolate, yarn, handmade bag, magazines, notebook, notecards, stickers, tags, pattern for table runners and beautiful fabrics. Thank you sooo much, Jennifer! Thanks a lot to Khris too for hosting this swap!
Two packages in one day - so of course I'm smiling!!
