FNSI result

I cut the fabrics and pieced the background for the wallhanging, so now it's ready for quilting before all the applique. I hope to do the quilting today.I also knitted some rows on the sweater, so I'm satiesfied with the progress.

I'm smiling ..........

for several reasons:
#1: I'm online again :-)) Now I hope the new company is better than the one we have had. It's not fun not to be able to visit blogs and read e-mails for so long time.
#2: We have the sun back. Because of the the high mountains we can't see the sun for 3 1/2 month, so it was great on Monday when the first sunbeams came through the window.
#3: I have had some time for handicrafts the last 2 days. I have varied between knitting and sewing.
#4: It's February Friday Night Sew-In tonight, and I'll join. If you want to do the same, visit Heidi's blog

The sweater pattern is called Setesdal.
The green table runner is a UFO - my item in the February UFO Challenge.These fabrics are for a wallhanging. No problem to find something to do. But before I enter the sewing room, I'll take a long walk. It's a beautiful winter weather.

UFO Challenge January 2012

I'm a bit late showing the photo of the UFO challenge for the first month in 2012, but I haven't had accesss to Internet for some time. You can read about the challenge here. For January we got number 5, but I had to change to 3 because that had to be done first. I completed #3 and most of # 4, so I'm quite satiesfied with the result. I don't know which month I'll finish it, but I'm sure this wallhanging will be on the wall at the end of this year :-)The number for February is #1. I look forward to finish the UFO.
