One Xmas Item for January

This year too Narelle is hosting the challenge "1 Xmas Item a month". This was a UFO. The blocks were sewn together, so I put on borders and made a little table cloth. So the first gift for Christmas is ready :-) Happy Quilting!

These scrap pieces had been in the shelf too long. I made a sewing machine mat out of them. Unfortunately I couldn't find a better fabric for the pockets, but the mat will be useful.I also got the binding on 3 pair of potholders. Not any exciting projects, but now they can be removed from the UFO list.

No sewing for the rest of the weekend, as I have to give priority to other things.

Once a month Heidi and Bobbi will be hosting "Friday Night Sew-In" this year too. It's fun to know that people all over the world are doing handicrafts at the same time. The day after we show what we have done. Tonight I'll focus on a UFO or two. Photo(s) tomorrow.

A finish

The first finish for 2012 - 10 table mats. Most of the tops were made in October, but after a long break they are now ready to be sent to England. I'll try to focus on UFOs the next weeks too.

A new book

Today I was lucky to receive this book - "History Repeated" by Betsy Chutchian and Carol Staehle. It was a gift from a friend. There seems to be many interesting repro quilts in the book. I have much repro fabrics in my stash, so may be I get some ideas for using them. My sewing project so far in the new year has been some table mats. Hopefully I'll finish them during the weekend.

The little "bag" and the tissue cover was made last month, but I couldn't have it on my Nov. list because it was a gift. The knitted hat is finished lately. Thanks to Kris and Peg for the work you do with the OPAM!

UFO Challenge 2012

I discovered that Judy at Patchwork Times is hosting a UFO Challenge for 2012. There seems to be many participants, so I'm not the only one who has quite a lot of UFOs. I want to join, and hopefully I can make progress and even finish some of them. I think it's easier when we can encourage each other.
My list is not too ambitious, because I know I'll be working on new projects as well as do other handicrafts during the coming year.
1. Table runner with flower - finish it.
2. Round Robin wallhanging (a little one)- quilt and finish it.
3. Christmas wallhanging - piece the top
4. ----------"------------ - do all the applique
5. ----------"------------ - quilt and finish it.
6. Christmas table runner - do the applique.
7. Bargello Wallhanging ( really old one) - finish the top.
8. ---------"----------- - quilt and finish it.
9. "Snow Days" Wallhanging (only one block is made) - sew at least 3 blocks.
10. ----------"----------- - sew at least 3 blocks.
11. ----------"----------- - sew at least 3 blocks.
12. ----------"----------- - stitch 1 or 2 blocks.

Judy is picking a random number each month, so may be I have to switch some of the numbers because I have to finish a top before doing the applique.

SSCS 2011

Jeg har også dette året vært med på hemmelig gavebytte arrangert av Donna. Jeg kunne ikke finne ut av hvem avsenderen var, men regnet med "gåten" ville bli løst når jeg pakket opp på julekvelden. Som dere ser var det masse fint, men hvem har sendt gaven? Det eneste jeg er sikker på er at vedkommende bor i Australia. Pynten jeg fikk kan sees her. Tusen takk for alt det fine jeg har fått!

This year too I participatied in SSCS (Secret Santa Christmas Swap) hosted by Donna. I couldn't see who sent me the package, but I was sure to know when I opened the main gift on Christmas Eve. As you can see I received a lot of lovely items, but there was no card or note telling me who sent it. The ornament I got you can see here. Thank you very much my secret friend! I love your gifts, so I'll be glad if you tell me who you are.

God Jul / Merry Christmas

Det hvite snølaget vi hadde for et par dager siden er borte. Regnet høljer ned, og vinden uler rundt hushjørnene, men inne er det julestemning. Treet er pyntet, englene på plass på pianoet, og nissen jeg laget for mange år siden er godt plassert på sparken sin. Nå er det bare å vente på at jula ringes inn.
Jeg vil takke alle som har vært innom bloggen min dette året, og hyggelige kommentarer varmer. Håper mange ønsker å titte innom i det kommende året også :-)We had a little snow on the ground a couple of days ago, but now it's gone. Outside it's windy and the rain is pouring down. But indoors we have it warm and cosy. The Christmas tree is decorated, the angels are placed on the piano and "Santa Claus" which I made many years ago is sitting on his "spark" (kick sledge ?) Now we are looking forward to some relaxing days.

I want to say thank you to all who have visited my blog this year, and I appreciate all the nice comments. I hope you'll do the same next year :-)

I går kom det spennende post helt fra Australia. Jeg er med på et hemmelig julegave bytte som Chookyblue arrangerer. I pakken var det to gaver. Den minste kan en åpne med det samme - det er pynt til treet- mens den andre må vente til julekvelden. Jeg er ikke sikker på hvem som er min hemmelige venn, men regner med å finne svaret når den siste er pakket opp.
Jeg håper pakken jeg sendte til ........... snart er framme. Yesterday I received exciting mail all the way from Australia. It was my SSCS package - a swap hosted by Chookyblue. The little gift which contains an ornament I'm allowed to open at once. Isn't it lovely? I'm not sure who the sender is, but I guess I'll know on Christmas Eve. Thank you so much my secret friend!
I hope the package I sent to ....... will find the way to her house quite soon.

Den siste måneden har gitt lite rom for sømmelige sysler. Jeg har vært en del på reisefot, men da ble strikkepinnene med i stedet for nål og tråd.

I dag har jeg endelig vært en tur på syrommet og funnet fram noen stoffer. Har mange prosjektplaner i hodet, og et par gaver skulle vært ferdige. Nå satser jeg på at de neste ukene gir rom for samvær med symaskina.

The last month hasn't given much time for sewing activities. I have been travelling more than I normally do, but then I prefered the knitting needles instead of needle and tread. Today I finally found the way to my sewing room and picked some fabrics from the stash. There are many plans in my head, and a couple of gifts should already have been done. Now I hope that the next weeks give room for spending time with the sewing machine.

Veggteppe / Wallhanging

Etter nesten 2 år ble veggteppet ferdig! "Laila's Garden" er et Gail Pan design. Jeg startet på teppet på et kurs med henne i Trondheim, men vel heime ble det liggende på vent. Nå i kveld er teppet kommet på veggen. Dessverre er fargene dårlige på bildet; den ytterste borden er grønn lik det som er midt i blomsten.
After almost 2 years the wallhanging is finished! "Laila's Garden" is a design from Gail Pan. I started when I joined a class with her in Trondheim. Since then it has been neglected too long. Now it's on the wall! Unfortunately the colours on the photo are not as good as they are in real. The outer binding is green like the green in the middle of the flowers. Jeg har litt rester igjen av noen av stoffene, så tanken er å sy en liten brikke også.
I have some left overs of some of the fabrics, so I have in mind to make a little table mat too.

UFOer og WIPer har hatt en rolig sommer, men det går tross alt framover. Har fått sydd 20 små blokker som skal være i et veggteppe. I dag har jeg mesteparten av dagen ledig, så symaskina skal få selskap.
UFOes and WIPs have had a quiet summer, but there is a little bit progress. 20 little pinwheels are finished. They are part of a wallhanging. Today I have the opportunity to spend some time together with my sewing machine. Happy quilting!

Dette er hva jeg har fått ferdig denne måneden.
This is what I have finished this month. Juli ble en måned med kontraster. Vi har hatt gode dager med familie og venner. Den siste tiden har grusomme bilder festet seg på netthinnen. Føler med de som har mistet sine kjære.
July has been a month with contrasts. We have spent wonderful days together with family and friends. The last week has brought us terrible pictures. I feel so sorry for all who have lost their beloved ones.

Da jeg kom tilbake fra ferien, lå det en spennende konvolutt og ventet på meg. For en tid tilbake hadde Anne Marie en "Pay It Forward" -forespørsel, og jeg ble en av de heldige som fikk delta. Se for en nydelig løper hun har sydd! Den falt helt i smak! Tusen takk Anne Marie!
Nå er det min tur til å gi bort noe. Jeg håper mange viser interesse. Blant de som ønsker å være med på "leken", trekker jeg ut tre stykker. Jeg har et år på meg til å sende en hjemmelaget gave til hver av dem. Når disse har mottatt gaven, er det deres tur til å gi bort noe. Jeg har deltatt på slikt før, og det er veldig koselig både å få og gi bort noe. When I came back from holiday, an interesting envelope was waiting for me. Some time ago Anne Marie asked for 3 participants to join a PIF (Pay It Forward) game,and I was one of the lucky ones. Look atb the beautiful table runner she has made. I love it! Tilbake / back home

Etter to og ei halv uke på farten, er jeg heime igjen. Har hatt flotte dager sammen med familie og kost veldig med barnebarnet. Vi dro også over Atlanteren og tilbrakte noen dager "over there". Fant en liten quiltebutikk på nettet som skulle ha åpent bl.a. på onsdag, men da jeg kom dit var det lapp på døra med "Closed" :-( Senere kom jeg innom en annen liten sybutikk - ikke quiltebutikk. Gikk ikke helt tomhendt derfra, men hadde det vært en butikk med bedre utvalg, hadde nok innkjøpet blitt et helt annet.I'm back home after two and a half week's holiday. Have had great days together with the family. We also spent some days "over there". I found a quilt shop on the Internet which should have open on Wednesdays, but when I came there it was closed :-( Later I visited another little shop (not a quilt shop) with some sewing stuff. I bought a few things, but I know it would have been much more if the other one had been open.
Jeg har ikke sydd et sting mens jeg var borte, bare strikket litt. Lysten til å sy er absolutt til stede; kanskje det blir noen sting de neste dagene.
I haven't done a stitch while away, only a little bit knitting. Now I really want to sew.

Nå kan barnebarnet møte høsten/vinteren med ny bukse, genser og lue. Settet er strikket i Rauma babygarn.

Friday Night Sew-In

Da er det tid for FNSI ( hosted by Bobbi and Heidi) igjen. Trodde ikke jeg fikk noe sytid i dag, men nå står kvelden i sømmens tegn. Har funnet fram noen blokker som tilhører en UFO fra 2009.

It's FNSI (hosted by Bobbi and Heidi) again. I didn't think I was able to join this time, but fortunately I can spend some time sewing. These blocks belong to a UFO from 2009. Happy Quilting!

Teppe ferdig / quilt finished

Har sydd et teppe til barnebarnet. Det er tenkt til bruk på golvet når han sitter og leker. Har dobbel vatt inni. Applikasjonsfigurene har jeg funnet i forskjellige malebøker og quilteblad. Jeg har kun stoffbrukt fra stofflageret.

I have made a little quilt for my grandson. He will use it when he's sitting on the floor playing. The applique motives I have found in different magazines and children's painting books. I have only used fabrics from my stash. Nærbilder av noen blokker.

Ny korg / new basket

I dag fikk jeg dette i posten. Har styrt unna bytter i år, men ble likevel med på korg-bytte. Det er Crystal i USA som har laget denne fine korga. Den passer perfekt til å ha garn/strikketøy i. I tillegg fikk jeg en charms pakke - "Charlevoix". Flotte stoffer som nok skal inngå i et eller annet prosjekt. Tusen takk for gaven! Today I received the basket from the "Quilted Fabric Basket" swap. It's Crystal in USA who has made the lovely basket. It's perfect for knitting stuff. I also got a charm packet - "Charlevoix". Great fabrics that will be used in a project some time. Thank you very much for the gift!

Det ble en lengre bloggpause enn jeg hadde tenkt, men andre ting har vært viktigere. Jeg har ikke hatt noen stor produksjon - bare litt strikking, noen applikasjonsblokker, en kurv og dette penalet. Foreløpig bare bilde av sistnevnte. Dette er mitt bidrag i Narelles utfordring " 1 Xmas Item a Month". The blogging break became longer than I had in mind, but other things have been more important. I haven't done much handicrafts - some knitting, a few applique blocks, a basket and this pencil case - that's all. At the moment a photo only of the last-mentioned. This is my contribute for May in Narelle's challenge "1 Xmas Item a Month".

2 løpere ble påbegynt i slutten av januar, men måtte vente på quilting og lukkekant helt til påske. Disse er tenkt til julegaver og går derfor inn som aprils bidrag til "1 Xmas Item A Month" I made two table runner tops in the end of January. But they had to wait for the quilting and finishing until Easter. These will be Christmas gifts, so they are my April's "1 Xmas Item A Month" project.

Disse søte knappene vant jeg for en tid siden, og i dag lå de i postkassen. De er håndlaget av kvinner i Sør Afrika. De lager utrolig mye fint, så ta en titt her.A few weeks ago I was the lucky winner of these cute button, and today I received them. They are handmade by women in South Africa. They are making lovely things, so take a look here.

Våren lar vente på seg. Med vind, regn og sludd ute, er det greitt å "trøste" seg med tulipaner og søm innendørs.

We are still waiting for the spring. With wind, rain and sleet outside, it's ok to "be comforted" indoors by tulips and sewing.

Det går ikke fort, men 3 nye stitcheryblokker er unnagjort. Nå gjenstår bare to. Stoff til blokkene som skal være innimellom, etr kjøpt inn. Håper å få gjort en start i løpet av helga.It doesn't go fast, but 3 more stitchery blocks are done. Only two more left. Fabrics for the blocks which will be in between, are bought. May be I can make a start during the weekend.

Har hatt noen dager fritt og trodde jeg skulle få masse tid til handarbeid. Men ofte må andre ting prioriteres - slik ble det denne gangen også. Kan i allefall notere 3 nye stitchery-blokker ferdige. Disse blokkene skal bli et veggtepe til barnebarnet. Det er et Bunny Hill design. Bruker ulike beige/brune nyanser. Neste blokk er klar for å syes - blir trolig kveldsarbeid.

I have had some days off from work, and I thought I would do a lot of handicrafts. But often you have to give priority to other things - and so it was this time too. Jeg har ikke sydd på over ei uke, så nå klør det i fingrene. I dag skal jeg konsentrere meg om noen stitchery-blokker. Startet før jul, men så ble det stopp. I haven't done any sewing for more than a week, so today I'll concentrate on some stitchery blocks. I started before Christmas, but since then they haven't been given priority.

Resteteppe / scrap quilt

Toppen ble sydd i november - quiltet av Anne på "Quiltestallen" i januar og nå er endelig lukkekanten kommet på. Her er det bare brukt rester; noen av stoffene er fra slutten av 90-tallet.
The top was made in November - quilted by Anne at "Quiltestallen" in January - and now the binding is finally done. I have only used scraps; some of them quite old.

Trivelig helg / Pleasant weekend

Jeg hadde ei trivelig helg sammen med mange likesinnede. Rundt 40 damer møttes på treff. Utrolig hvor mye inspirasjon og glede slike sammenkomster gir. Jeg fikk sydd rundt 50 nier-blokker - trenger noen flere, men hadde ikke nok stoff med meg. Startet derfor et par andre prosjekter som dere kan se litt av. Det skal ikke bli UFOer :-) I have had a pleasant weekend together with people with the same interest. About 40 women met. These meetings give so much inspiration and joy. I made 50 nine-patch blocks. I need some more, but I didn't bring enough of these fabrics with me. Instead I started two new projects which you can see a bit of. They are not going to be UFOs :-)

I forrige innlegg nevnte jeg utfordringen "1 Xmas item a month". Den 25. i hver måned skal vi vise om vi har fått sydd noe med tanke på jul dette året. Mitt første bidrag er noen enkle grytekluter som ble sydd ferdig i helga. In my last post I mentioned the challenge "1 Xmas item a month". On the 25th every month we have to show what we have made during the month having Christmas 2011 in mind. So far - so good. In the weekend I finished 3 pair of pot holders which will be gifts.

Trodde ikke det skulle gå flere uker før jeg fikk mitt første bloginnlegg i 2011. Nå er jeg tilbake.

Nytt år og nye muligheter. I år som i fjor satser jeg på å få færre UFOer/WISPer etter hvert. Stofflageret skal minskes. Jeg var ganske flink til å bruke av det som lå i hyllene i året som gikk - vil holde meg på den bølgen lengst mulig. Har meldt meg på noen utfordringer som kan hjelpe meg til å nå målet. Narelle har ei utfordring der en syr en ting hver måned med tanke på jul 2011. Ønsker du å vite mer så ta en titt her.

Anne Marie har ei utfordring med nier-blokker. Informasjon finner du om du besøker bloggen hennes.

Godt å vite at det er helg. Den skal nytes med søm og strikk. Har plukket fram en løper, noen grytekluter, et stitchery og et strikketøy. Fint med variasjon ;-) Almost three weeks have passed of the new year without a blog post! But now I'm back.

A new year and new chances. Like last year I have a few goals. I want to finish UFOs/WISPs, and to reduce the stash. I think I was quite good in using fabrics from my stash last year, so I hope to continue through 2011. I have signed up for a couple of challenges to help me to reach the goals. Narelle has Christmas 2011 in mind, and ask us to make one item each month. Anne Marie has a Nine-Patch challenge going on. Take a look here and here if you want more information.

I want to enjoy the weekend with some sewing and knitting. My focus will be on a table runner, some pot holders, a stitchery and a knitting. I like variation ;-)

It's time to show the last finishes for 2010. I want to say thank you to Peg and Kris for hosting OPAM (One Project A Month) - it has definitely helped me to finish projects - and I'm very glad to hear that this will continue next year.
The table runner was my handmade SSCS-gift for Jenny in Australia. When I visited her blog, I saw she was very fond of flowers, so the choice was easy. Thank you to Donna for hosting the Santa Secret Christmas Swap (SSCS). I think this was the third time I participated.
My daughter's Log Cabin quilt is finished, and we both are satisfied with the result. It's quilted by Merete.The bag from this post is also a Dec. finish.
During Christmas I haven't done any sewing - just knitting.

I have been spoiled with many wonderful gifts recently. Fabrics and card from Elna and some cute mini socks from Hellen. The socks are on the Christmas tree.

Leah was my secret santa in the SSCS-swap. She had knitted a beautiful shawl, and the colour is perfect for me.

Some quilting stuff from other friends was under the tree too. Thank you very much all of you for great gifts! I look forward to use it.

I have had a day off from work today, and I have spent some hours in the kitchen. Here you can see some of it. I also made biscuits.These ones (Lussekatter" we use to eat Dec.13th, but I know I haven't time to make them on that date. So we'll have them on Sunday instead.This month Bobbi and Heidi are hosting Friday Night Sew-In twice. Tonight is the first one, and I look so forward to sew a little. I want to make progress on a secret and also try to get a start on a bag. A colleague had some scraps and asked me to make a simple bag for her. Enjoy the evening!

Two packages ....

...in one day! My SSCS package arrived. It came all the way from Leah in Australia. I was allowed to open the ornament gift, and below you can see the pretty angel. Thank you very much! The main gift has to wait until Christmas :-)My friend Anne in UK sent me an Advent package. It contained sweets and a handmade calender. The calender is already hanging on the wall, and I'll put sweets in each pocket. Thanks a lot for the nice gift!I hope you all have an enjoyable Advent!

FRIENDS swap

A couple of weeks ago I received all these gifts from Marina in Australia. We participated in the FRIENDS swap hosted by Khris. Marina really spoiled me. It's unbelieveable that blogging friends can be so kind! The teddybear stitchery is great!

The scarf will be good to have now when winter is just around the corner. The needlecase, the scissor holder and the pincushion are lovely. The chocolate and the tea were delicious. I look forward to use the thread, ric rac and the fabrics.Marina, thank you very, very much for being so generous!

Back in blogland

I'm sorry I haven't given my blog priority for some weeks. It has been quite busy.
In my last post I told you that I was going to have a course. It was an interesting weekend with very concentrated students. There were 5 - three of them from South Africa. I taught them basic patchwork. Unfortunately I forgot my camera the last day, but below you can see a few photos from the second day.

The colours on this table runner was much better than the photo shows.

The African ladies stayed for two and a half week. Every day some of the members in our Handicraft Association had activities together with them. The guests taught us beading which they are very good at. It's very interesting to learn about culture in another part of the world and get new friends.

The last weekend they were our guests, they joined a quilting retreat. It's a yearly event in our quilting group to arrange this meeting. 50 - 60 (from a large area) quilters use to gather at the local guesthouse - sewing, talking, eating - just to have wonderful days together. Some ladies even arrive early in the week to have more time. I'll show you some photos in the next post.

Exciting weekend

This weekend I'm going to have a patchwork course for beginners. Three of the participants are Africans. Our Handicraft Association have some friendship groups in South Africa, and this is the fourth time we invite a few ladies to Norway. Exciting! About 40 quilters from the area around will be there as well sewing and have a nice time.
I hope to have some photos to share after the course.

I have been away for the whole weekend. It was quite late last night when I was back home and was a little bit tired today when I went to my place of work. But there was a great surprise waiting for me. A colleague had visited Iceland and gave me these beautiful fabrics. A very nice start of the week :-) Now I have to figure out what to make. Have a creative week!

Last night I finished a couple of gifts -sorry, no photos yet - and I made progress on the quilt you see below. All Log Cabin blocks are sewn together, next step is the borders. We have a beautiful autumn day here, so I'll take a long walk. Hopefully I can continue on the quilt later today.

Some of the trees have got some yellow leaves. The first snow is on the highest tops, and the temperatures are quite low. There's no doubt; the summer is over. A little bit sad, but on the other hand autumn is a good time for handicrafts. In the dark evenings it's cosy to listen to music or a talking book when you are stitching or knitting.
This weekend I'm working on UFOs/WISPs together with some friends. We are not at the same place - we have contact via Internett. It's very nice. Yesterday I finished two make-up bags. It seems that I never get tired of this pattern from AnnAKa- I don't know how many I have made during the last years. I'm sure these will not be the last ones. Now I will work on the Log Cabin top.

Only a few hours left of this month, so it's time for the OPAM report. Fortunately I have had some time for handicrafts the last week, but haven't so many finishes.
I have quite a lot of knitting needles, so I needed one more case.

I was asked to knit some pair of socks. The variegated yarn "Big Fabel" is quite thick - knitting needles nr. 4 - so making a pair doesn't take too long.

It's been a while since you heard from me. I have been on holiday for a couple of weeks, but the last week I have spent at home. Two of my daughters have been here - enjoy to having them around. Unfortunately the weather has been too bad this summer - actually perfect for indoors activities - but I haven't done any handicrafts. I really needed a push, so I have joined
Friday Night Sew-in. I'm not sure what to do tonight, just looking forward to sew again. Tomorrow I'll visit the participants blogs and see what they all have made.

Summer?

Rain, rain, rain! It's pouring and the temperature is 6-8 degrees C. The calender shows mid June, but it's hard to believe it's summer. Perfect weather for handicrafts, but I have been too busy. No sewing; no knitting.
Some positive things. DS and DIL are visiting us, and tomorrow foreign visitors will arrive. Yesterday DH gave me these roses. We had our thirty-fifth wedding anniversary.

I can't believe .....

The days and weeks just fly. I can't believe that we are in the middle of June already. May/June are not the best months for me to get sewing time, so I haven't much to report. I had to buy a few more fabrics for the Log Cabin quilt. I have 15-20 blocks left to make before I can start putting them together. I have one more make-up bag to finish.

I have also plans for these green fabrics; more about that later when I have started.

But I can't give sewing/blogging the highest priority at the moment. I wish there was more weekends :-))

Amy is hosting Blogger's Quilt Festival for the third time. There are hundreds of participants; not only showing their quilts, but also telling the stories behind them. Thank you so much Amy for doing this! This is my second time joining the fun. My entry is a wallhanging made in 1999. It was the first mystery quilt I made. The pattern was from a foreign magazine; a Belgium friend translated it into English and sent to me every time there was a new part of it. At that time there wasn't any quilt shop in my area. When I knew how many light, medium and dark fabrics I needed, I asked my eldest daughter in Bergen to help me. I hadn't said anything about what colours I wanted. My daughter didn't want to decide, so it was the staff at the quilt shop that made the decision. I must say I was a bit nervous when I received the package - it could be colours I didn't like at all - but I was happily surprised. During the next months it was exciting to get the next part of the mystery from my friend and make progress. When the quilt was finished, I was satisfied with the result. Now I'll have a cup of tea and enjoy visiting more blogs.

Log Cabin blocksI have made two more of these make-up bags. I like this pattern from the Norwegian designer AnnAKa.A stitchery block is also ready to be started. It's a pattern designed by Angela Prince-Bex some years ago. This is the first of 5 blocks that will be a part of a wallhanging. Happy Quilting!

Online again and April OPAM

Yes, I'm online again :0). We have been without telephone and Internet connection since Friday afternoon. It's not nice when you can't send e-mails and visit blogs.

Last month I mostly concentrated on my daughter's quilt. But Friday I finished a make-up bag, so I just made it - one project a month.

I had a wonderful weekend together with quilting friends. Always lots of inspirations such days. Lovely bags, table runners and cushions were made. Some finished their work, others made a good progress. I'm very satisfied - the number of blocks has increased - but there's still many more to make. Saturday I got a mini Round Robin back. My block is in the upper left corner. I asked my friends "to give" me a flower, and here you can see the result. They have even made a fence in front of "my garden". Thanks a lot for the lovely work you all have done! Now I'll put on a border before quilting.April is almost at the end, and I haven't any finishes yet! This evening I have to find a little UFO which I hope to finish during the week.
